The first trailer has arrived for All’s Fair, promising scandal, drama and whodunnit chaos.

Set to premiere this fall on Hulu (US) and Disney+ (UK), the Ryan Murphy-created legal drama follows a group of female lawyers who leave their male-dominated law firm to open a “powerhouse” practice.

As per the synopsis: “Fierce, brilliant, and emotionally complicated, they navigate high-stakes breakups, scandalous secrets, and shifting allegiances—both in the courtroom and within their own ranks. In a world where money talks and love is a battleground, these women don’t just play the game—they change it.”

All’s Fair is set to bring together an array of stars from the Ryan Murphy TV universe, including Sarah Paulson, Niecy Nash-Betts, Kim Kardashian, and Naomi Watts.

The series is also set to feature Hollywood iconGlenn Close, Teyana Taylor and Matthew Noszka.

In the trailer, Allura Grant (Kardashian), Emerald Greene (Nash-Betts) and Liberty Ronson (Watts) are sitting in a conference room before the former asks their client, Dee Barber (Elizabeth Berkley), to take “a deep breath” and tell them her story.

“It’s been a lot. I’m sorry,” Dee says, resulting in Liberty exclaiming, “No, no. We don’t meet with sorry people.”

As the trailer progresses, the iconic ‘Cell Block Tango’ from Broadway’s Chicago plays in the background while clips of the ladies and their glamorous yet complicated lives flash across the screen.

“He hurt you. Get mad, get hot. Get revenge!” Dina Standish (Close) exclaims.

In addition to teasing the series’ intricate storylines, the trailer promises backstabbing, witty dialogue, stunning outfits, twists, turns, and hot, shirtless men.

While an exact release date for All’s Fair has not been announced, the trailer has generated plenty of buzz on social media.

“This show was quite LITERALLY made for me holy shit,” one person on X/Twitter wrote.

Another viewer commented: “Will subscribe to Disney+ again for this.”

A third pop culture enthusiast tweeted: “I know this is a Ryan Murphy production, so I shouldn’t be surprised, but god, this cast is CAMP.”

Cooper Koch’s insane body is on full display in Calvin Klein’s sizzling new campaign.

On 13 May, the fashion house left fans ‘falling out of their chairs’ as they unveiled a series of underwear-clad shots featuring the actor feeling the heat in their signature summer essentials and cotton classics.

In an exclusive interview with Esquire, Koch reflected on the “really fun and exhausting” shoot, during which he was accompanied by a personal trainer who had him “lifting weights and doing push-ups and working out the entire day to stay pumped-up.”

“I’d never really had that experience before, so I was tired by the end of the day, but ultimately it was so, so fun,” said the star. “The sets were amazing. Mert Alas, the photographer, was so collaborative and had such great ideas, and we had so many laughs, and I just felt so grateful to be there the whole time.”

Koch shared that Madonna tracks helped keep his energy high throughout the day.

“And then at a certain point, there was water that came into play, so then all of a sudden I was soaking wet, which woke me up,” he joked. “That was really fun. It was just constantly changing environments and changing set-ups, and they let me look at some of the photos too as we were going, so that kept me excited to try new stuff.”

Koch skyrocketed to fame last year with his breakout role as Erik Menendez in the second season of Ryan Murphy’s crime anthology series Monsters. His performance, especially the one-take fifth episode, ‘The Hurt Man’, earned widespread critical acclaim and a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actor in a Miniseries or Television Film.

The actor, whose previous credits include the cult horror films Swallowed and They/Them (2022), opened up to Esquire about his “intense” and “quick” rise to fame. He said that “other people’s perception of you can sometimes affect your own perception of yourself, which has been a difficult journey.”

“I think I’m still trying to navigate that, and I’m still adjusting to the newness of my life now,” he explained. “But I have such great people around me. I’m really close with my family, I have an amazing partner, my team is really supportive, and so I have a lot of great people to lean on.

“It’s a big adjustment, but ultimately, I’ve had so many great experiences. I’ve met so many amazing people, new friends, and I’m so grateful for everything that’s happened. I look forward to the next thing.”

American Horror Story season 13 has received a disappointing update.

Back in 2020, FX ordered three additional seasons – 11, 12 and 13 – of Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuck’s popular anthology series.

Since that fateful day, the show’s team have treated fans to two spooky additions to the franchise, American Horror Story: NYC and American Horror Story: Delicate.

However, since the season 12 finale in April 2024, details surrounding season 13, its plot and cast have remained a mystery.

After months of uncertainty and speculation, the chief of Disney TV Studios, Eric Schrier, finally shared an update with Deadline on the forthcoming entry, and it’s certainly bittersweet.

“We don’t have another incarnation of American Horror Story ordered, but it’s a franchise that, by design, can always be rebooted. And so when Ryan has an idea that is great and can figure it out with his schedule of all the things that he’s doing, I could very well see us doing another instalment,” Schrier told the news outlet.

When asked if American Horror Story would continue following the 13th season, Schrier confirmed that there would always be a place for the show as long as Murphy has an idea.

“The way we work with Ryan is different than with other creators, he’s in a select few group of people that, if he has a great idea for another American Horror Story, and that’s something that [FX Networks chairman] John [Landgraf] and the team at FX really want to do, we’re going to figure it out,” he explained.

While American Horror Story season 13 won’t be on our screens anytime soon, Murphy confirmed in October that he wasn’t giving up on the show.

“I haven’t really landed on it yet. There’s a couple things in contention. I did have a wonderful conversation with Sarah Paulson the other day, and she was like, ‘Okay, I think it’s time we get the band back together, so let’s make some calls here,” he told Variety.

“So I’m gonna have dinner with Sarah and Evan Peters in the not too distant future, because they’re both dear to me. I love that show. I’ll never give up on that show.”

That same month, Paulson echoed sentiments similar to Murphy’s during her appearance on Good Morning America.

“I think there is a big chance that I will return to American Horror Story. I’ve got everything crossed. I would like to do it more than anything. It’s my home. It’s where I started,” she said.

“I got to play seven different characters in seven years which, as an actor, is the most exciting, thrilling thing. [It] also allows an audience to be ready for anything you’re going to do because they’re not attached to one thing that you do, specifically. That has given me a lot of career flexibility.”

Paulson continued to reveal that she’s keen to reunite with her “favourite people”, creator Ryan Murphy and co-star Evan Peters: “You can pretty much tell me what time I will be there, and I will be there.”

While we’ll have to wait a bit longer for American Horror Story season 13, fans will have plenty of content to consume from Murphy and company –  including the Charlie Hunnam-led third season of Netflix’s Monster, FX’s American Love Story, The Beauty and All’s Fair.

You can watch all 12 seasons of American Horror Story on Disney+ in the UK and Hulu in the US.

Cooper Koch expressed an interest in playing this popular character in Netflix’s new Scooby-Doo adaptation.

On 26 March, the streamer announced that a live-action television series based on the iconic Hanna-Barbera characters was officially in the works.

Described as a “modern reimagining,” the eight-episode show is set to explore the origin story and formation of Mystery Incorporated.

The official logline reads: “During their final summer at Camp Ruby-Spears, old friends Shaggy and Daphne get embroiled in a haunting mystery surrounding a lonely, lost Great Dane puppy that may have been a witness to a supernatural murder.

“Together with the pragmatic and scientific townie, Velma, and the strange but ever-so-handsome new kid, Freddy, they set out to solve the case that is pulling each of them into a creepy nightmare that threatens to expose all their secrets.”

In response to the news, fans and a handful of news outlets have shared their dream castings for the show’s Mystery Gang, including Entertainment Weekly.

On 28 March, the publication’s social media team pitched Natasha Lyonne and Tim Robinson as potential picks for Scooby, Benjamin Norris and Fred Hechinger for Shaggy, Geraldine Viswanathan and Pauline Chalamet for Velma, Madelaine Petsch and Lovie Simone for Daphne Blake and lastly Patrick Schwarzenegger and Koch for Fred Jones.

While we’re still a ways away from the new Scooby-Doo series hitting our screens, Koch recently shared his thoughts on the dream casting during an appearance on the news outlet’s Awardist podcast.

“Now, Cooper, I know you’re not on social media, so you may not have seen this, but Entertainment Weekly, we put out a video with our suggestions for who we would love to see in a cast for the live-action Scooby Doo series that’s been announced, and our social team picked you as a potential for Fred. Is that a role that will ever interest you?” host Gerrald Hall inquired.

In response, Koch exclaimed, “F**k yeah,” before adding, “That’s awesome. I love that.”

The upcoming Scooby-Doo TV series is just one of the many projects Koch is open to starring in.

When speaking to VMAN in February, the Swallowed star revealed his interest in starring in adaptations of Giovanni’s Room, All Fours, and A Little Life,

“I don’t want it to sound like I’m conceited, like I can do whatever I want,” Koch continued. “It’s more like, I just want to do things that I feel have meaning and purpose that I’m passionate about.”

Published in 1956 by the legendary James Baldwin, Giovanni’s Room is widely regarded as one of the greatest LGBTQIA+ novels of all time, yet a film adaptation has never come to fruition.

Exploring themes of homosexuality, bisexuality, internalised homophobia, masculinity, and alienation, the novel follows David, an American man living in Paris who falls in love with an Italian bartender named Giovanni.

All Fours (2024), written by Miranda July, centres on a woman experiencing a sexual awakening mid-life, while A Little Life (2015) chronicles the lives of four friends as they grapple with substance abuse, sexual assault and depression.

In addition to the aforementioned literary works, Koch has expressed an interest in joining Luca Guadagnino’s upcoming American Psycho project.

“I was just saying to [another interviewer] that Luca [Guadagnino] is doing American Psycho. I mean, I think I could do Patrick Bateman, don’t you think?” he told The Hollywood Reporter in October. “I mean, I haven’t played a serial killer yet. So, I think I could do it.”

After starring in the LGBTQIA+ horror films Swallowed and They/Them (2022), Koch gained international recognition last year for his role in the second season of Ryan Murphy’s crime anthology series Monsters.

His portrayal of Erik received widespread critical acclaim, especially for the one-take fifth episode, ‘The Hurt Man,’ earning him a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actor in a Miniseries or Television Film.

9-1-1 star Ryan Guzman has shared his thoughts on how the ‘Buddie’ ship came to be.

Over the last few years, TV viewers worldwide have immersed themselves in the shocking and chaotic drama created by Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk, and Tim Minear.

However, one aspect of 9-1-1 that has particularly captivated viewers is the electric chemistry between firefighters Edmundo “Eddie” Diaz (Guzman) and Evan “Buck” Buckley (Oliver Stark).

While the writers have portrayed Eddie and Buck as close friends over the last eight seasons, it hasn’t stopped fans from shipping the two characters, affectionately naming the duo ‘Buddie.’

During a recent interview on the Zach Sang Show, Guzman opened up about the show’s dedicated fan base, telling the titular host that he loves seeing the audience participation.

“If they aren’t saying anything, you’re not doing your job correctly. You want to kind of be provocative in a way. But what they do with the storylines and what they attach themselves to is completely their own,” he said.

“This goes for everything and everyone in the world, people will see what they want to see… it’s all up to the audience, and we love the fact that the audience is kind of growing with us.”

When the conversation shifted to Buck and Eddie, Guzman shared his thoughts on how the ‘Buddie’ ship became so popular.

“That’s a huge one. We have such a massive following with that, and it all started from season two. Eddie and Buck were walking down and we kept on bumping each other’s shoulders,” he explained.

“So somebody picked up on that and that’s where it just kept on growing and growing and growing and growing.”

After Sang asked if the moment was intentional, Guzman said it was due to Stark “not knowing how to walk straight.”

“That’s it. Mind you, for seasons he’s done that. I think it was two seasons, three seasons ago, we were doing a scene, and we’re walking towards the same way… and I had to actively work against his little push he does,” he continued. “But with that, the audience sees that, runs with it, we encourage it.

While the wait for canon ‘Buddie’ continues, the show’s writers have treated fans to plenty of LGBTQIA+ content involving Buck – who was confirmed bisexual in season seven.

In the episode titled ‘Buck, Bothered and Bewildered’, the fan favourite character shared a (surprising) intimate moment with former firefighter and LAFD Air Operations pilot Tommy (Lou Ferrigno Jr.), which set off their passionate and short-lived love affair.

Shortly after the episode was released, Stark opened up to GAY TIMES about his character’s journey, revealing that the idea was initially brought to him years prior.

“I had said yes, and then it was shut down from somewhere else above. So, I had known that this was a possible storyline that we might, one day, be able to lean back into, he explained.

Stark also addressed the ‘Buddie’ fans and whether he would be open to a future romance between the beloved firefighters.

“Honestly, at the beginning of this season… I see what everybody else sees. Like, I watch the same show. I don’t think that the Buddie fans are wrong, he said.

“If it does end up going there, it will be because the story naturally progresses in that way. It shouldn’t be done just to please a specific sub-set of fans. It should be done because that’s the right story to tell, and that’s, in fact, the much more progressive and positive way to tell the story anyway.”

Check out our full interview with Oliver Stark here.

New episodes of 9-1-1 air every Thursday on ABC.

Cooper Koch wants to star in a film adaptation of the iconic gay novel Giovanni’s Room.

In an interview with VMAN, the actor shared his top three literary works he’d love to be involved in, should they be adapted into films.

Giovanni’s Room, All Fours, and A Little Life. Those are the top three,” Koch revealed.

“I don’t want it to sound like I’m conceited, like I can do whatever I want,” Koch continued. “It’s more like, I just want to do things that I feel have meaning and purpose that I’m passionate about.”

After starring in the LGBTQIA+ horror films Swallowed and They/Them (2022), Koch gained international recognition last year for his role in the second season of Ryan Murphy‘s crime anthology series Monsters.

His portrayal of Erik received widespread critical acclaim, especially for the one-take fifth episode, ‘The Hurt Man,’ earning him a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actor in a Miniseries or Television Film.

Since Netflix launched the series, subtitled The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story, the star has been outspoken about why the Menendez brothers deserve to be released from prison.

He expanded on this in his VMAN interview, highlighting how Erik “teaches speech classes, yoga and meditation, and they help people who have been through sexual abuse”.

“They’ve gotten college degrees. They’ve found a life in prison because they’ve accepted what happened to them, and they accepted what they did. That takes such courage and bravery and strength and time,” Koch continued.

“I think for that reason they deserve to come home.”

A release date has been confirmed for Jacob Elordi and Diego Calva’s queer drama On Swift Horses.

Based on Shannon Pufahl’s novel of the same name, the story follows newlyweds Muriel (Daisy Edgar-Jones) and Lee (Will Poulter), who decide to leave Kansas City to start a new life in San Diego, California.

Lee’s brother Julius (Elordi), a Korean War veteran and wayward gambler, ruffles their idyllic feathers as he forms a connection with his new sister-in-law. Although Lee is keen for them to remain in San Diego, Julius moves to Las Vegas and falls in love with his casino co-worker Henry (Diego Calva).

Meanwhile, Muriel also undergoes a journey of self-discovery by secretly gambling on racehorses and forming an intense connection with her new neighbour, Sandra (Sasha Calle).

On Swift Horses premiered at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival at 7 September 2024, and it set to be released in the U.S. on 25 April.

The film is directed by Daniel Minahan, whose extensive television work includes The L Word, Grey’s Anatomy, True Blood, House of Cards, Game of Thrones and Fellow Travelers.

Minahan has also collaborated multiple times with Ryan Murphy, having directed all five episodes of Halston and one episode each for both Hollywood and Ratched.

According to Vanity Fair, On Swift Horses will include “several rich, emotional and explicit love scenes” between Elordi and Calva.

In an interview with the publication, the latter – known for his Golden Globe-nominated performance in Babylon – said he and Elordi had “a week of intensive [prep] in the motel room, and Dan gave us a lot of freedom to run around and to play and to find that love within those four walls.”

The Saltburn star didn’t reveal much in the interview, but credited Paul Newman’s films with trying to “build a voice around the way” his character “spoke, and movement around the way he moved”.

Meanwhile, Edgar-Jones described the film as “wonderfully queer”, adding: “Dan was really helpful in guiding that and making sure that we were also being authentic to that period and that experience.”

Here’s what would have been in store for Tarlos if 9-1-1: Lone Star wasn’t cancelled.

In September, fans of the beloved first responder drama were thrown for a loop when it was announced that the fifth season would be its last.

“From the start, fans have followed the heroic and deeply moving stories of the men and women who make up Austin’s 126, so a huge thanks to one of the greatest creative teams in all of television — Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Tim Minear — for creating one of the most action-packed dramas anywhere,” “Fox TV Network President Michael Thorn said in a statement.

While the final season of 9-1-1: Lone Star was a bittersweet viewing experience for fans, its series finale made sure to deliver happy endings for the show’s characters – including fan-favourite power couple Tyler Kennedy “TK Strand and Carlos Reyes.

Throughout the last batch of episodes, the lovebirds went through quite a rough patch due to the stress of Carlos’ all-encompassing search for his father’s killer and the sudden arrest of TK’s stepfather Enzo – which resulted in his half-brother Jonah becoming guardian-less.

The couple faced another hurdle when they clashed over adopting Jonah. Ultimately, TK and Carlos moved past their issues – going full steam ahead with the adoption.

However, a social worker denied their request due to their dangerous jobs. Fortunately, in the series finale, the couple gained custody of Jonah after TK quit his job as an EMT.

While Tarlos’ journey ended on a high note, 9-1-1: Lone Star showrunner Rashad Raisani recently revealed that their story could have looked slightly different had the show not been cancelled.

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, the TV creative said: “It would have been great to see an episode where TK and Carlos make the decision to adopt.

“I wish we could have displayed that journey before we put them in front of the social worker.”

Raisani also expressed disappointment over not including an episode following Carlos’ day-to-day as a Texas Ranger.

“I always regretted that I couldn’t have had a Carlos Texas Ranger episode after he had found out who had betrayed him to see what his new normal looks like at work with Campbell (Parker Young), the guy who he thought did it,” he said.

While Raisani couldn’t include the aforementioned storylines in the final season of 9-1-1: Lone Star, he isn’t losing out hope on Tarlos appearing in future 9-1-1 spin-off.

Fox

In a separate interview with The Wrap, Raisani revealed that he previously pitched a TK and Carlos series to studio execs.

“I had been desperately trying to get some steam going for a Tarlos thing with the Texas Rangers, and it just couldn’t quite get the corporate liftoff,” he told the news outlet.

“In my mind, if Carlos got stationed in a new city in Texas as a Texas Ranger, and TK and Jonah went to El Paso, or went to some other city, and just tell a new story that way.”

While the Tarlos series didn’t come to fruition, Raisani affirmed to the news outlet that he hasn’t given up on the idea.

“Never say never. I pushed and pushed, and I’m not done pushing. I still believe in it very much,” he added.

Here’s hoping Tarlos will return to our screens soon in a new show or on future episodes of ABC’s 9-1-1.

Tarlos’ journey on 9-1-1: Lone Star has come to an end, and fans (including us) are devastated.

Back in September, it was revealed that the first responder drama’s fifth season would be its last.

In a statement, Fox TV Network President Michael Thorn said: “From the start, fans have followed the heroic and deeply moving stories of the men and women who make up Austin’s 126, so a huge thanks to one of the greatest creative teams in all of television — Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Tim Minear — for creating one of the most action-packed dramas anywhere.

“Now, in our final season of the show, we’re set to give it the high-stakes send-off it deserves, complete with breathless rescues, insurmountable odds and relatable personal struggles, thanks to our incomparable, stellar cast led by Rob Lowe and Gina Torres.”

Over the last few months, fans have immersed themselves in the final season of 9-1-1: Lone Star – which saw our favourite Station 126 first responders deal with various large-scale disasters – such as a deadly train derailment and an asteroid crash.

While the show’s final run was filled with action-packed moments, it also featured a heartwarming series finale that beautifully concluded each of the characters’ story arcs – including fan-favourite power couple Tyler Kennedy “TK” Strand and Carlos Reyes aka Tarlos.

Throughout the season, the lovebirds had plenty of roadblocks thrown their way.

From Carlos’ tireless and all-encompassing search for his father’s killer to TK’s stepfather Enzo getting arrested for fraud slash conspiracy, the newlywed’s relationship went through quite a bit of strain.

The couple faced another hurdle when TK started the process of adopting his half-brother Jonah following Enzo’s detainment.

While Carlos initially resisted the plan, he eventually came around to the idea of being a parent to his toddler brother-in-law.

However, despite their heartwarming push for adoption, things came to a crashing halt when a social worker rejected their bid due to the dangers of their jobs.

Fortunately, the writers gave Tarlos the happy ending they deserved in the final moments of the series finale – which saw the couple gain custody of Jonah after TK quit his job as an EMT.

Since the conclusion of 9-1-1: Lone Star, fans have flocked to social media to share their reactions to the conclusion of TK and Carlos’ story.

One person on X, formerly known as Twitter, wrote: “Moreee more more than happy for them, each one of them found his perfect soulmate.. And now they will be the perfect family for Jonah.”

Another fan tweeted: “Tarlos will always have a special place in my heart. I’ll miss them! Hopefully, it’s not goodbye. PLEASE GIVE US A SPINOFF!”

A third viewer added: “I’m honestly so happy that Tarlos got their happy ending though like I was 100% prepared for a bury your gays trope, but their happy ending just made me so happy but also sad that we won’t see more of them.”

Here’s hoping Tarlos will return to our screens soon in a new show or on future episodes of ABC’s 9-1-1.
